Today was our breakfast meeting at the Easton City Market. 10 members were there to hear about the upcoming 4th public meeting of the Opioid Awareness Committee. It will be held at a Lafayette College facility on the evening of March 26. Presently there are 3 speakers presenting “their message.” Our Opioid Awareness Committee is gaining more movement and more support organizations are offering their ability to provide various solutions to this “disease.” This past Monday afternoon we had many assembled for the committee meeting. Put March 26th on your calendar and plan to attend and check out this month’s Kiwanis magazine, page 40, “A Ray Of Hope”. Hopefully in the future we may have an article about our Opioid Awareness Campaign.
